The minimum amount that can be leased is 20 lbs. There is no limit on the maximum amount you can lease at one time.

How many times can I lease quota within a season?

You can performing leasing activities as many times as you want, provided there is enough quota in the pool to fulfill your request.

Can I request a refund or leaseback unused amounts of quota at the end of the year?

Where do you source your halibut quota from?

We work with various parties within the British Columbia halibut fishing sector such as PHMA to source and provide access to quota for your sportfishing activities.

What do I do with my provisional record of quota lease documentation once I receive it?

Once you receive your provisional record of quota lease via email from accessQ keep this with you during your fishing activities or until you receive official documentation from DFO.
